Healthy Food Processor Recipes

Eating healthy can be really difficult, so I’ve had to figure out ways to make it easier to fit into a normal everyday lifestyle. It takes a lot of planning and a lot of prepping, especially when you’re doing it for a family and not just yourself. Add in limited time and being on a budget and it can just get so crazy. My holy grail kitchen appliance is my Cuisinart food processor. What a massive difference it’s made in my efforts to feed my family more healthily.

I already owned a food processor for a bit, but didn’t use it as often as I probably should have. I guess I didn’t really understand how much I could actually do with it. I am so glad that my curiosity got the best of me one night. I delved into some serious research on healthy eating, which brought me to a lot of information on food prepping, which led me to find out how much easier it would be to prepare food with my Cuisinart food processor. I was amazed and also annoyed that I didn’t find this out sooner.

I logged onto KitchenWorksInc. to see what was available in terms of Cuisinart dfp-14n parts that I could add to my collection. They carry actual Cuisinart food processor replacement parts, not any aftermarket stuff that will break in a month. I bought myself some different blades: a shredder, a grater, and one for fries. What a game changer! It’s such a handy tool and makes things so much easier for me in the kitchen.

I’m able to get things prepared at unreal speeds now, and it’s certainly maximized the time I get to spend with my family. Not to mention, the recipes I have found are so good, my kids don’t even realize how healthy they are actually eating. It really works out all the way around. I feel like I’m instilling healthy habits in them without actually having to force it. The food just ends up being that good!

One of my favorite things to make with my Cuisinart food processor is coleslaw. As anyone who has made coleslaw before knows, it’s a massive pain to chop up all of that cabbage and grate carrots. Luckily, I’m able to put it all in the food processor and it does all the work! The best part is that I even make homemade mayonnaise to go in it. It tastes better than store bought, and it doesn’t have all of those nasty preservatives in it.

I am just so impressed with everything I can do with this tool. I wouldn’t trade it for anything else in my kitchen. I buy it as a wedding and housewarming gift at any opportunity I get, and all I get back are rave reviews of how it’s simplified their mealtime issues as well. I’m so happy that I get to share this wonderful discovery with the people in my life who mean a lot to me.
